Town Guide and Event Icons
The Town Guide is Hills's in-game schedule map — blue nodes mark story-critical events while optional chains use subtler icons. PantyParrot refined thumbnails twice after launch so players can plan days without missing mandatory beats.
What the Town Guide Shows
Open the Town Guide from the city UI to see available locations and event pins for the current day phase (morning, afternoon, evening, night). Each pin costs action points to visit — the guide does not spend AP for you, it only reveals what is active.
Blue-highlighted events are story-important. Optional rumor chains and shops use different art. Confusing the two causes most "soft lock" scares that are actually just skipped mandatory icons.
Icon Updates (v1.0.5 and v1.0.14)
- Ver.1.0.5 — Blue important events received distinct thumbnails separate from generic optional nodes.
- Ver.1.0.14 — Town Guide icons refreshed again for quicker identification of critical beats before boss days and gala deadlines.
After updating, reload an old save once and open the Town Guide on Day 1 of a test slot to learn the new icon shapes before committing to a 100% route.
Pairing with Action Points
Check the Town Guide every morning before spending carriage fees. Mandatory "!" icons should clear before optional grinding. v1.0.5 also stopped the first two Mayor's Residence jobs from advancing the time period — you can stack them in the same daytime block when the guide shows both available.
See Action Points and Day 1–5 Walkthrough for sample day plans.
Hints After v1.0.15
Ver.1.0.15 added clearer warnings before certain key events and boss battles — these often appear as extra dialogue or UI flashes when selecting a Town Guide node. Treat them as hard confirmations, not flavor text.
Last updated: July 2026 — Ver.1.0.15.
